First, the elephant in the room
Yes. Tallow — but not just any fat.
We use purified beef kidney tallow — the firm fat around the kidneys. It gives the balm a firm, rich texture that softens between your fingers. On the ingredient list, the beef tallow is called Adeps Bovis.
Use a small amount and apply a thin layer. This gives skin a soft, supple feel with a drier finish rather than a heavy, greasy surface.

What is tallow?
Tallow is purified fat from cattle. In Talliv Pure, it is listed as Adeps Bovis and makes up the entire ingredient list.
Does Pure smell of meat?
Pure has no added fragrance and has a mild, natural scent of pure fat. Perception is individual, and the scent fades after application.
Should I choose Pure or Nature?
Choose Pure for one ingredient and a richer, firmer balm. Choose Nature for a softer texture and smoother glide from jojoba oil.
Where can I use it?
On clean, intact adult skin — for example hands, body, elbows, legs and feet. Avoid eyes, mucous membranes and damaged skin.
Is Talliv vegan?
No. Tallow comes from cattle, and we state this clearly. If you are looking for plant-based skincare, Talliv is not the right choice.
How do delivery and returns work?
Free delivery on orders of DKK 299.00 or more. We dispatch from Denmark within 1–2 working days. Delivery is calculated at checkout. Unopened products can be returned within 14 days of receipt. The seal must be intact, and you pay return postage. Email kontakt@talliv.com before returning your order.
